Have had several issues with Santander the past few years, from bablance issues, debit cards not being delivered becasue they couldn't update my address and now what IMO is a wrongful maintenance fee.

At the suggestion of a branch member I opened a triple interest savings account. It was disclosed there were no fees but I'd have to have $100 a month automatically deposited to get the extra interest, so I opened the accocunt.

A few days later it was discovered that there was a $5K withdraw limit per month. Since this account was to be used for tax money, this limitation would not work thus I transferred all funds out ASAP.

2 years later it was mentioned this $5K limit did not apply. I asked about any other issues fes etc and was told that the only issues was to have $100 a month on automatic depoit. With this new knowledge in mind I put money back into it.. 3 days later I get WACLED with a maintenenace fee.

Calling the branch did nothing. Sent them a letter, which drew a phone message but still no actions.

IMO Santander bank is a rip off organization and I also belive they will chip at your account when they think they can get away with it.

Never have I had anay issues with my other banks. Looks like I'll be transferring all services and investments away from what IMO is ripoff Santander.

They had ample oportunity to fix this but didn't.
