S.A.R. and Associates LTS Management Oakland Park KS Outstanding Payday Loan for $1450.00 Fort Lauderdale Florida
I received a letter in the mail from S.A.R. and Associates claiming that I owed a creditor named Loan Shop Online LTS Management Oakland Park KS in the amount of $1450.00. The letter stated that numerous attempts to get this issue resolved have been ignored by myself, but if I called them they were offering me a discounted repayment plan and no further action would be taken against me.
Since the letter stated that this supposed loan was done in March 2012, I did a little research for myself. Of course there was no record of such loan. I have never heard of this company nor have I received any monies from them.
I called the number provided, explained that I did not owe any monies. Was informed that if I did not wish to take care of this debt further action would be taken since I was talking to the Civil Procedures Department.
The gentleman that I spoke with did have a lot of my personal information (thank goodness for Credit Monitoring) and even mentioned a bankruptcy I had. (He was informed that not only was bankruptcy a matter of public record but that I also knew this was a scam due to the fact that I had looked them up and apparently everyone they deal with owes $1450.00) He hung up on me. What does that tell you?!
