Sausage Software, Hot Dog Rip-off, no customer service on paid orders Internet
Bought and paid for Hot Dog 5 Professional (an HTML editor) thru online reseller of Sausage software several years ago. Loss of registered software version due to computer change. Used their help forums many times, my "help" tickets are ignored and deleted.
The software cost was $ 99.00. I should not have to pay another $ 99.00 to get a registration key. If they can not find a record of a credit card purchase for their software, then they are not keeping good records. Poor record keeping makes you wonder what they are claiming for sales to the IRS as well.
They have no direct email or phone contact information, further leading me to believe that they have no commitment to their customers. The only way of contacting them is thru their web forums, which they delete all messages they do not like. They refuse to answer messages left on their help forums.
