On February 16, 2016, I purchased a Time Warner Cable (phone:888-892-4373) bundle package through Qology Direct (phone: 800-892-2253) on-line and was directed to purchase a Techzilla Router (ph: 866-226-0011) through SaveologyTech (rebate phone no: 877-713-5405) that was fully rebated and would cost $14.95 to install.
Not only was I never informed that this was a Time Warner Cable second party provider, the router was NOT compatible when TWC came to hook it up, TWC did not back this company up and I had to pay 4 installation charges of 39.99 to finally obtain router connections through the TWC rental router.
I still have the Saveology Router brand new in the box; NO rebate after 12 months, and many promises that my rebate check is in the mail. I am very disgusted with Time Warner Cable for allowing this type of seond party provider; the way we were mislead to purhase a router that was refused when TWC came to install it; the way we were never informed of any other installation fees except the $14.95 (of which we ended up paying for 4 TWC service calls at $39.99 each); never receiving my rebate and the way we were taken advantage of by all of the named above.
To this day, SaveologyTech insists that the "check is in the mail". I have printouts of all of this material, including the charges to my VISA and look forward to holding these "companies" accountable.
