We shipped our transmission from WA to FL for repair. Scott said it would take two weeks and for an additional $300.00 he would extend the warrenty for an additional three years.
What really happened? They had our transmission for two months. When they shipped the transmission back the it was missing the torque converter (they never did replace it, we had to buy a new one)
Immediatly we took the transmission to Jamies Transmission here in WA and were told it was a piece of junk and needed to be completely re-built. Jayden (with Jamies transmission) contacted Carmen Yaslow (referes to herself as a 'Sales Rep however is actually the wife of Scott Yaslow owner of 5 Star transmission (aka Tranzland/Ligit Transmissions)
For over two months Jayden attempted contact with 5 Star sometimes Caremen would answer and other times not. Eventually Carmen asked Jayden to send her a list of parts needed to repair the transmission which Jayden did at that point Carmen and Scott stopped taking our calls. Calls go straight to voicemail that is full and will not accept messages. Scott/Carmen/5 Star never did warrenty the transmission. We're out $2,500.00
I've since found several 'scam artist' reports online about Scott and Carmen Yaslow. Stay away from these people they are thieves.

You have a transmission shop there who you trusted enough to render an opinion about the rebuild job of this Florida place, yet you have this thing rebuilt 2000+ miles away??? How hilarious!
