Sears, Circuit City, Sony rebate ripoff Fort Lauderdale Florida
Companies promised $100. dollar rebates on their product and failed to pay abused & mistreated .....
I purchased a Sony Camcorder from Sears in Fort Lauderdale. There was a one hundred dollar rebate offered. I completed all the forms exactly as instructed and mailed them immediately. I never dreamed that a company such as Sears or Sony would rip me off but they did. I never received my rebate, in spite of numerous phone calls and resubmissions with their requests for "additional information". I'll be old and grey and in a nursing home I'm sure before I get my money from these bastards. I've given up trying but I'm mad as hell and I'll never trust them again.
About a month later I purchased a View Sonic flat screen computer monitor from Circuit City. It also involved a one hundred dollar rebate. The same thing happened. Hell will probably freeze over before they pay me one red cent. NEVER AGAIN!
There is no point in fighting with these people, they're alot more powerful than me and sadly it seems our government is becoming more and more tolerant of fraud at every level and on every scale. That's really ashame.
