sears gold mastercard sears store hattiesburg ms 39401 for 10 months,I am being charged for a product which was delivered defective,and which was picked up by sears and returned Sioux Falls, South Dakota
April of 2012 I purchased a swimming pool from Sears on the phone. The pool was delivered to our local sears store in Hattiesburg Ms,and picked up by us.We spent around $200 dollars preparing the site,and another $100 for help to assemble said pool.We began to fill the pool (costing more money) and discovered water seeping from seems of pool on one side.I called Sears, they said pool would be picked up,new one delivered.
It is by now late May,Sears charges me for 2nd pool to be delivered,but says they
can't credit for 1st pool until it is picked up.I now owe Sears over $1400 for 2 pools,and it is June.July arrives, finally the Manager of local Sears personally picks up 1st pool,so I can get credit for 1 pool.I still have NO pool at this time and still OWE FOR ONE POOL.
I am by now very frustrated and call Sears to cancel new pool,which was NEVER delivered,and as Summer is almost half over,I ask them to please clear my account,as I do not owe for ANY pool as 2nd pool was never delivered ,but am still being charged $742.The account services say we are very sorry,and will clear this matter.
It is now January 2013,I continued to receive monthly statements from sears mastercard stating a balance of $742 dollars,but no min. payment due.I now have a statement with the ever popular $742,but now they say I have a min. payment. I do not have a POOL,nor do I OWE Sears anything,nor will I ever shop with Sears, even though we have been Sears customers in good standing for 40 years.
I am sure some where on my credit report It will show I owe Sears, and have for almost a year.I simply don't know what else to do.after countless hours on the phone,I am NOT getting service from Sears,so please help me. thanks for your time
