Do any of you actually have a title in your possession at this time? I have mine, but in the upper left hand corner it has been stamped to say that Seawest is the lien holder. It is my understanding that the dealer may have possibly done this and that since I physically have my title in my possession, that there may be no record of a lien holder at the Secretary of State. If any of you hold your title, I would suggest that you go to the Secretary of State and file for a lost title and if it comes back that Seawest is the lien holder then you can dispute that because they are no longer in business. CPS cannot replace Seawest on your title without your permission. Please let me know if you have any luck. I have been dealing with these idiots for over 2 years now. Good Luck.

Looks like Sea West sold to Consumer Portfolio Services in April. Your title might have slipped through the cracks somewhere along the line. You might want to give them a call. Their web site is http://www.consumerportfolio.com/ Hope that helps.
