This company name is new. Secured Benefits Connection. It is the same company as and same scam as Harvard Benefits, Harvrd Risk Management, all the same. They place daily ads all over craigslist, offering jobs and all they do is try to sell their product. legal shield. It is all a scam. There is no job. It is their way to sell their product. BEWARE!! Their hr specialst used to be Melissa Sarna...now it is Courtney Brandt. Of course the ads are the same....so maybe Melissa just changed her name.....anyway, these people will waste your time!

First off, Secured Benefits Connection (SBC) doesn't MAKE you pay for the Legalshield plan.  You can pay a $149 one-time fee that covers getting licensed and everything you should need to get started on your own, although, most individuals do purchase the plan....  It's something that anyone could need at any given time.

Of course, we want you to become a Legalshield member, simply because it's more difficult to be successful selling a product/service that you have no experience with or knowlege of.  Statistics prove that individuals with a one-on-one experience with the product/service they are promoting will be more successful than an outsider trying to make a sell on something they're not even sure about themselves.

SBC is a branch from Harvard Risk Management, and that's why you see such similarity between the two....  HRMC is still in business and successfully thriving more every day.  The company's name did NOT change to SBC, these are two, completely seperate companies.

I am trying to be as professional as possible with this reply, but stating that there is no job to offer is nothing short of a straight up lie.  People make sells every day.  I, personally, am not in a commission-based opportunity with this company, as I put in 40 hours a week, supporting recruiters every day.  However, I know every time one of my assigned individuals makes a commission, as I am the one to let them know.  Also, I am the one to tell them to be on the lookout for their direct deposit/check when we send it, AND I follow up with them to make sure their payment has been received.

Strictly commission-based jobs aren't for everyone, and I will say that it's not always easy.  If you are not willing to do the footwork, don't bother signing up.  We have individuals who sign up, do nothing and get nothing, AND we have individuals who are self-driven and motivated and are knocking down the big bucks right now.  What each person does with this opportunity is completely up to them and them alone.

Now, other than the untrue statements that you so boldly stated, I missed where your accusations of this company are actually proof of a scam.  Feel free to enlighten me more :)

I don't know if they really offer an opportunty to make money, but I do know they will not give you the opportunty if you are not willing to buy their product. They tell you buying the product is optional, however if you opt out, you get and email saying they will get back to you if interested. If you tell them you're interested in the product and want to work for them, they immediately say that you can begn working for them and link you to forms to fill out indicating you will buy their product.

I know this because I did it a second time and said "yes I want the product" and the response was completely different. Very shady and untrustworthy tactic in my opinion.

I am a 36 year old independent insurance agent and the very first thing I can tell you about sales is that it is not an easy job and definatly not for everybody. There is a reason 100% commision based jobs are either the lowest paying or the highest paying positions out there. It all depends on YOUR competency!!!

A company will give you a product to sell and it is your job to sell it. If a company gives you a product to sell, tells you where to put it and gives you a customer to sell it to then the job is no longer a sales position it is a retail position i.e. Walmart, Target..ect. My suggestion to you would be applying to one of these places when looking for future employment.

I am living proof that Harvard Risk Management is not a scam. They provide you a very good and very reasonibly priced product, extensive and effective training,an amazing support system and an upfront and accurate compensation plan. There is nothing fake about this company and trying to run it's name through the mud simply because you are incompitent as sales person isn't exactly fair to those of us who are good at our jobs.

You can reach me at (((email redacted))) my name is Jan and I will be more than happy to give a few pointers on how to be more efficent at your job if you insist on following a career in sales. Thank you and I hope you have an amazing day.

NO ONE has answered me. im not sure how this bennifits them but it was a complete waste of time for me. How ridiculous is this where you make someone call your fake company and sit online if your trying to sell your business im going to do everything in my power to make it so people dont want to use your services because its a rip off.
