Someone from Septic Maxx called today trying to sell me a septic system additive. Is it necessary??? Here's what the EPA said about septic additives on their website: "Septic tank additives or "rejuvenators" are not needed in your septic
tank, whether the additives are chemically-based (organic or inorganic compounds that claim to break up sludge or scum or to unclog drainfields), or biologically-based septic additives (septic tank yeast cultures, septic tank bacteria, starter bacteria, or septic tank enzymes)."
That pretty much answers my question......Stay away from these people!!!!!

Because our name Septic Maxx and AJ Larkin are associated with this post, I am responding.
Septic Maxx is located in Delray Beach Florida Not in Deerfield Beach.
Using a septic additive such as Septic Maxx will be helpful in maintaining the natural balance of enzyme creating bacteria in a septic system. Just like eating yogurt helps maintain our digestive tract as a probiotic, it is not necessary but it sure makes things run smoother.
Septic Maxx works the same way to help your septic system.
