Shades Hairdressing in Stevenage, Hertfordshire...
I called them and asked for a quote to colour my hair, they quoted around 60. I asked them to book me an appointment with a senior stylist as I wanted someone who has experience in colour.
I turned up for my appointment and was left waiting, they told me that the stylist I booked was busy with another client and passed me onto a junior.
I told her I wanted the top half of my hair blonde and a chocolate brown under colour, she did not do what I asked as she put thick foiled highlights in my hair which looked like chunky bangs and then applied the colour all over the rest of the hair.
After she finished my hair, it was alright but NOT what i asked for at all. I thought it would be cheaper as I had a junior stylist but in fact they charged me over 100, I questioned the charges and they told me it was because i had extra colour on my hair however they failed to mention this prior to the appointment and considering they did not do what I asked and I got passed onto a junior I was not impressed. I did not have enough money and had to borrow it from my friend who was also having her hair done.
Did not acheive what i asked for
Booked senior stylist, they passed me onto junior and charged me full price.
Hidden Costs.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS....unless you dont mind paying over 50 more than originally quoted price on the day without prior notice!!
