Shafer Insurance Agency Insurance Company Rip Off - Doesn't pay claim Knoxville Tennessee
Shafer Insurance Company in Knoxville, Tn refused to pay a claim , When one of there insured rear ended me while I was stopped at a red light. The Driver was in a 1987 Dump Truck filled with Cow Manure and skidded over 100 ft in to the rear of my car causing $4,500.00 damage.
The police report stated that in this accident that had made an abrupt lane change so they are not liable. I was cut off from getting in the turning lane by another vehicle and had to get back in my original lane but was there in plenty of time for the driver of the dump truck to stop.
The fact of the matter is, I was rear ended squarely in the middle of my car stopped at a red light, the driver of the dump truck was speeding and would have completely ran the stop light if he had not have crashed in to me.
Shafer Insurance has denied the claim and in my opinion are a bunch of rip off artists and do not pay the claims they owe.
