Shasta Pools Does not stand behind products or construction, poor craftmanship, poor service Phoenix Arizona
First, Shasta pools did not meet construction deadline. They were off by weeks and not due to weather.
They do not stand behind their warranties. If you build a pool with this company, be sure to get clear and concise warranties on all equipment, construction, electrical, tile work, and plumbing. We experienced items wrong in all areas above and were told we were past our warranty, to find out one year later we were not. Of course, we were told no on fixing anything.
We had issues with the following within 2 years of construction:
1. Cracking tiles (was told we were 8 weeks past warranty - SORRY!)
2. Cracking grout (was told we were 8 weeks past warranty - SORRY)
3. Lifting tiles (was told we were 8 weeks past warranty - SORRY)
3. Uneven balance on water feature
4. Improper wiring of electrical (found by home inspector at 3 yrs, Shasta refused to fix.)
5. Leaking filter
6. Non-function of top of the line pool/spa heater - (was told the heater was two weeks past warranty-SORRY)
Shasta has refused to fix anything for us. Their customer service has been TERRIBLE, their is a customer service manager by the name of Kathy, she is completely rude. Ask to speak with her boss. We would recommend that you find another reputable pool builder, one that values their customers. We have numerous neighbors that also built their pools with Shasta and have had the same experience. We have had to incur significant costs to have their poor workmanship fixed. With SHASTA POOLS - BUILD AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
