SHIFTRITE TRANSMISSIONS INCREDIBLE CHEAT, RIF OFF DUNEDIN FLORIDA
Transmission on my 97 vehicle died. Called this criminal who sent a private tow truck to bring my car to his shop. He called me the next day to advise that it would cost me 250.00 to check the problem but it would be credited if the work were done by him. I agreed. He called me back two days later with the bad news I needed a new trans.
He could rebuild the present one and it would be good as knew for 1800.00 with a 6 month guarantee. I agreed. After calling for several days after the time he said it would be done he finally said it was ready.
I picked the car up, paid him, and as i was driving home the transmission started smoking. I called the next day to advise he told me to bring it back. Again I left the car there.
He called to say it was a seal and he repaired it. I picked the car up. Seven months later the transmission again burned up. This time I brought the car to AAMCO Transmission.
They inspected the car and stated that due to a seal leak the fluid had all leaked out and the transmission burned. When I called the crook at Shiftrite to tell him he called me a liar and hung up on me. I again had to repair the transmission at a cost witha 3 year guarantee was 2200.00.
BEWARE DUNEDIN THIS PREDATOR IS SALAVATING AT THE THOUGHT OF YOU BRINGING YOUR CAR AND YOUR CHECKBOOK TO HIM.
