SHOPPERSHOPPERS MARKET RESEARCH - SHOPPERS, INC. This company sent me an employment letter which is basically a rip-off scheme trying to get me to wire money to Chantelle Smith, Bronx, NY or Jessica Williams, Queens, NY New York New York
Today, I received a letter from a company called SHOPPERS MARKET RESEARCH asking me to become a part-time "Mystery Shopper" employee. The letter included a "Cashiers Check" for $2,940.00. Although I conduct many market surveys, I did not remember this company. The letter asked me to deposit the letter into my account and contact the Accounts Manager. I would be asked to conduct two training assignments. The first was to make a $100 purchase from one of seven name brand stores in which I would get $300 ($100 per hour x 3 hours) and I would get to keep the merchandise. The second training mission would be to wire $2400.00 to either Chantelle Smith, Bronx, NY or Jessica Williams, Queens NY or any other person designated by the Account Manager. I googled the address in New York City because I, once, lived on Long Island and did not recognize the address. The location does not exist. A reverse phone search shows that the Phone #403-399-0384 is actually in Calgary, Canada. The Fax Number has been connected to an advance fee scam which issues counterfeit checks. The cashiers check was drawn off of US Bank Check #3819500980 Routing #122235821, Account #153410023953. Remitter was Bolton Phillips, Director of Operations.
