Silicon Solar Double burned by Silicon Solor. Sent toy sized solar water fountain that did not work. Returnede it within their 15 day time period. They refuse the package so I am also burnedI for the return postage! Bainbridge New York
I purchased a Night & Day Solar pump #10-1185 from Silicon
Solor. When It arrived I knew it would not work at 2 inches in size! I contacted the customer service who said I only had 15 days to return it.This is not stated on anything with the product.
Customer services assured me that it is a popular pump and will work. Ha! it emits a trickle. I returned it within the time period, they refused to accept the package. So I'm out the 90.00 for the pump plus the 13.50 return postage. It's a Double rip off!

I want to personally apologize and assure that we have identified and have been working to address past and current issues regarding customer service with our company. Our refund policy is stated clearly on our website, when an order is placed, one agrees to it. A call must be made before you send a return, to get a return authorization number; it will be returned by our returns department if it is not. If you would kindly give us a call or email we can get this issue taken care of for you . Silicon Solar Inc started by designing and manufacturing solar energy products in an industry that was growing at an exponential rate. During these times we experienced several growing pains like many companies who are small and starting out. As a result of these growing pains, our customers service was below both my own and the company's expectations. Over the years we have worked to improve our customer service and ensure that our customers are receiving the most value in both their product and the service they receive, yet there is still room for improvement. Our company was founded as a product based company and as a goal and mission for 2009, we are shifting our focus toward a value added company that is determined to offer additional values to our customers through service. We accept that there have been issues in the past and are working honorably to ensure that all of our customers (current and past) are serviced and provided with answers to some of their unanswered questions or service requests. A successful business learns from its mistakes and being able to accept their mistakes and prevent them from happening again. There are no excuses for lack in customer service and this is why in 2009 it is our mission to ensure that we provide our customers with the highest level of service.
