I paid Sleek MedSpa in Burlington, MA, $700 for 9 faical treatments. I had only completed 3 of the 9. They did not inform me that they shut down. It was only when I happened to be walking by their Mall store that I noticed packaging boxes. When I walked in and enquired the lady there told me that only the Burlington location was shutting down and that I could continue with either the Braintree or Boston locations.

After 2 months of phone calls and no response to both the local locations as well as the HDQ phone, I finally got through to a human by selecting "new customer" on the phone menu.  Lo and behold, I found a human instantly soon as I was a "new customer." They then informed me that the business had been sold to Boston Surgical. I told them my legally bound contract was with Sleek and not with Boston Surgical, but they said there is nothing they could do.

Boston Surgical only has an answering service. After 6 phone calls and no response, I wish to file a lawsuit and urge others who are in a similar boat (and I know there are LOTS of you) to join me in the lawsuit. I want my money back for failure to fulfill the contractual obligations and failure to notify me of the business closing down.

I also have the same complaints - and actually filed a report with the MA Attorney Generals Office...If enough of us file a report then hopefully the state of MA can pursue investigating these crooks! Please file a report; I am working with Sarah Margolis in that office to pursue my complaint. You can file online and it's quick...
