Smart One Energy Phone call trying to get me to sign up Monsey, New York
I just received a phone call from a woman with such a thick accent that I
had a great deal of trouble understanding her. She said that I "qualified for"
an account with Smart One Energy, which would give me a lower cost than
Washington Gas. I asked questions and she just kept repeating the same
thing. I asked her several times to send me an email or something through
snail mail about the company. She said that she couldn't, which made me
suspicious. Then she hung up.
I looked on the Washington Gas website and Smart One Energy is listed
as one of their suppliers. But I wouldn't go with them because of this phone call.
