First contact with Smart Tint in August 2015, requested a sample of the product. When the sample arrived a month in the end of September the electrical connections were broken and we had to put them back together. We requested a quote with specific dimensions in the color black and non adhesive.  When the quote was recieved, the dimensions and color were wrong and they quoted Adhesive Tint.  Requested a corrected quote.

We received our Smart Tint on November 13th, 4 days after it was promised, the tint looked white, however the paperwork stated the product was Black and that it was non adhisive. Confirmed with Smart Tint it was Black. After watching all the videos on the Smart Tint website, we install the tint.  Immideately we knew something was wrong, it was white and there were streaks and bubbles through the entire door.  We called John Adams at Smart Tint he assured us that we could just work these lines and bubbles out.

On November 24th we sent 7 pictures of the installed smart tint, which were white in color full of lines.  The first comment from Sam Adams of Smart Tint was that we installed it incorrectly.  We told him that we watched all the video's and washed the glass 3 times just to make sure nothing was on it.  Adam told us we could remove the tint and send it back to them in New York and they may be able to fix it, however we could not remove it from the glass door. We had to have a third party of Smart Tint's choice come to our office on a Saturday to tell us that the color was white and not black the Tint has been damaged but that he could not tell how it had become damaged. He noticed that the Tint had started to split where we tried to remove it from the glass and stated that is was adhesive tint and not non adhesive tint.

The third party vender spoke with Smart tint and we requested a new piece of Smart Tint in Black and non adhesive and we would have their representative install the new piece.  Sam Adams told us he would only give us a $300.00 discount and we would have to purchase a new piece and that because it was installed inproperly they would not replace it
