I bought a Berkline sofa, chaisse lounge and rocker recliner from Sofa's Plus last May, it was delivered in July and by October the fabric was faded, worn and rippled making the couch look 10 years old instead of new.

I called and they sent their serviceman out in November to replace the faded/rippled cushions. In three months they looked worse and this was just from sitting on them as we have no sun coming in our windows to fade it. The padding on the arm is gone, it's down to the wood and the headrests are indented where we rest our heads. I've sat on the Chaisse Lounge approximately 8 times and that cushion is also indented.

I called and they said they will send us a new couch (7 weeks ago) same couch, same material but they will not extend the warranty which will no longer be valid by the time the couch arrives if it ever does.

I wrote to Sofa's Plus and Berkline Furniture (they don't want to know anything) and I have not heard from either company (certified letter mailed March 30th.) Both received letters but are not responding.

I have been ripped off for $2400.00 and am very upset about this. I work hard for my money and would like to at least be able to buy something that will last longer than just three months.

It is just my fiance and I that sit on this furniture and we take care of our belongings. This should not have happened to brand new furniture.

We haven't received them yet but Berkline has agreed to replace the sofa and the Rocker recliner but we have to pay an additional $200.00. We don't mind as long as this set holds up better than the last. When the new set is delivered I will update again.

After going to the store in-person Saturday and speaking to the manager, he agreed to contact a rep at Berkline. Today I receved a phone call telling me they agreed to replace my sofa with a different sofa (make, model and fabric). We should be receiving the new couch in about 4 weeks. Now we have to deal with the rocker recliner.
