Soft Holdings Pty Ltd. Ripoff dishonest and unprofessional conduct Hong Kong
Below is a letter which I wrote to Soft Holdings, which I believe sums up the incredible problems I have had since purchasing their program. I never received any response to this letter.
Dear Alex,
Some time has passed since using your program as I have been unwell and am now informing you of my unhappiness since purchasing this program.
It all started when an employee of Soft Holdings, Jay Jay (as he wished to be addressed), telephoned me at my current address with this amazing story of supplementing my income. I was not employed at the time and certainly not interested in anything involved with gambling. I had grown up with a compulsive gambling father and know of the heartache it can cause and I was also computer illiterate. The conversation should have ceased at that point but he immediately implied it was not gambling and he would train my sixteen year old son, Jasper, to use this so called wonderful program, which would earn an income of approximately $30,000 a year, very enticing!
He seemed extremely nice and befriended Jasper, we informed him we had an old computer and I was adamant about not gambling, he insisted it was not and none of the technological requirements were discussed.
He constantly rang putting more points across at the most inopportune of times, he explained that the price was increasing to $6,900 and used this as a reason to pester us about buying the program before a set date. I had no income, had lost my job and only had a few savings in the bank, but he insisted we only needed $500 in a TAB account to start earning money. Little did I know that a much higher amount is required!
All this contributed to my agreeing to purchase the program in October 2002. I purchased in instalments, never received a proof of purchase and was told there was a money back guarantee if I hadn't made the $5000 back within five months; no information was given about this. He even went as far to say he would call monthly to see how we were progressing not once has he phoned. It seems he was not sincere and this was one of many confidence tricks to win me over, I would appreciate if you would call me so I can discuss the reasons in full.
I have not made the money back, in fact I am $100 down on the TAB account and arriving at this point has been both frustrating and soul destroying. Luckily my intuition and common sense has prevented me from getting in deeper leading to dept as I mentioned before I do not have the funds. I also believe the person training us, Matt, was made well aware of our dilemma. He will not have heard from me for some time, as I cannot use this program any longer. It is affecting my health and there is no money to continue with.
I look forward to hearing from you in writing as soon as possible so this matter can be rectified.
I was prompted to post this report when I read one posted by Drew...this only emphasises the dishonesty of this company because many of the things I have been told by them are completely different to those reported by other disgruntled customers.

Firstly to Richard, I am very glad to have finally found someone that shares my opinion of this company. I am unsure of how to deal with the situation though...all I know is that I need the money I lost back. Where would be the best place to obtain information on larry pickering and the company?? I would also be willing to converse with you over my report in regards to this situation. Chris, I was told lies by the salesman in regards to the program when I purchased it. He gave me wrong information about the capital that would be required in my account etc. So often I wouldn't have enough money in my account to make a larger investment after losing several races in a row. The reason I only lost $100 on top of my original investment was because I had the sense of mind to cease using the program when I realised it wasn't working for me...I didnt have enough money to continue to back the greatly increasing investments.

I have a query for the original psoter, how were you using your program. You claim to have lost $100 since you started with it, so I was wondering what you were doing. The few other people I have seen who say they have lost money claim to have blown thousands. I know how I use my program, and am happy to discuss it with anyone here, I was just wondering what you were doing so I can avoid the same possible pitfalls. regards

Dear Sally, As an ex employee, I can agree with everything written on these reports. I have initiated contact with a senior investigations officer from the OFT in Queensland, and he is very interested in hearing about what goes on at 22 Marin Pde Southport. The reason for the different information I would imagine would be the fact that in order to sell the program at a higher price, they needed to increase the working capital, and also increase the amount of the return. It is interesting to hear your point of view as I have not spoken to an older client of theirs. I am sure that if we were all to band together and attack them as a single unit they would certainly struggle to cope with it. Just if you get a chance, do some research through Southport Magistrates court regarding Soft Holdings and the political cartoonist Larry Pickering. This is the money man in the operation, and this is where the majority of capital has came from. I am sure you will be more than surprised at what you will find out. I will openly converse with anyone on these reports via the internet.
