I was with cox for 3 years and left because my rep solomon ortiz was a money hungry jerk. and called me names over the phone. buyer beware

solomon ortiz was my rep and was horrible, i left cox and now have att - so much better! i now know that COX is not an acronym, it is a definition:)

 Theres this little thing called the TRUTH and you are expected to use it here. While Im sure YOU feel its perfectly alright to blast this person online, it is in VERY POOR FORM for you to do so. Why?? Because YOU expect the entire web going public to believe you. Problem is, those that use the web ARE NOT dumb creatures who will believe ANYTHING you post. There are 3 sides to ANY issue. Ok we have seen YOUR side. You are failing to disclose YOUR PART in the situation. If this person was at work and not someone on the street, then YOU did something to cause them to "call you names". Just because you are a customer of a company, that doesnt give you ANY RIGHT to abuse an employee. If you think you DO have the right, then the name calling was appropriate in this situation.

Heres a novel thought...how about posting BOTH SIDES of this issue. Tell the TRUTH. An employee doesnt have the ability to raise prices, so how exactly was this person a money hungry jerk?? Were you THAT far behind on your bill and they wouldnt assist you because you were that late? Did the rep perhaps CHARGE you for a service you required but EXPECTED to get for free? Its ALWAYS one of the two. An employee doing their job is NOT being a money hungry jerk. YOU wouldnt work for free, why would you expect THEM to. By NOT paying your bill and demanding services or assistance that is EXACTLY what you are doing.

Lastly....Since YOU feel the need to place someone elses name out on the web, Ive got a unpleasant surprise for you. I hope you like FEEs. Because YOU are going to be seeing a lot of them. More specifically the ETF or the Early Termination Fee. You state that you were in contract for 3 years. Well their contracts are 2yrs, after that 2 year mark you are automatically regiistered for ANOTHER 2 yr contract. So thats roughly $400 right out of your pocket, now lets add to THAT fee by adding an EQUIPTMENT FEE. Thats going to run roughly $200 per box. And since YOU chose to cancel the service, THEY dont have to provide a box or shipping label to YOU. This means that YOU will have to eat the costs of shipping their equiptment back or face more fees.

Once you add that all up, seems kinda silly on your part. You show your rump over the phone. YOU push buttons and make demands and when you FINALLY get a rise out of an employee, you turn it around on them. REAL MATURE OF YOU. But THEY get good news. YOU will have to pay these fees or it goes on YOUR credit report. AND they dont have to EVER deal with you as a customer ever again.

Nope dont work for them, dont know anyone who does. Just really ticks me off to see the USUAL consumer self-entitlment when YOU are the one that pushes the employee into the name calling you are accusing them of.
