Shawn (Poet) Denoyer, owner of Solstice Ink, is unprofessional, unethical, inexperienced, and way over priced!! Although he has been doing tattoos for many, many years, his work is sloppy and careless. He digs deep in your skin, causing scaring. The lines on his work are crooked and blown out and bleed, and the color fades quickly. He assures satisfaction, or he will touch up and fix the problem, yet acts childish and unprofessional if you ask him to do so. He did such a poor job on my husbands tattoo that we have spent an enormous amount of money getting it removed by a laser. He works incredibly slow to charge more, as he often charges by the hour.
Additionally, I purchased several gift cards from him, totaling approximately $800. He did two small tattoos on me, and claimed my gift cards had been redeemed in full, when the work he did took less than an hour!! Avoid Shawn and Solstice Ink at all costs!!!! We do not recommend him for any tattoo work!!
