The ps4 broke at about 10 months old but due to unexpected circumstances did not get it in for service until march, though contact with sony was made days before the warranty expired. PS4 was send isin as per their emailed instruction and fedexed packaging. My unit was returned a few days later accompanied by paperwork implying all was well, in plugging in the unit it still did not work. Called sony the next money and after a long wait on the phone was informed the unit was return due to water damage- A BARE FACE LIE, called back 2 days later and was informed by a so-called supervisor that according to the technician there was corrosion in the unit, of course quite convenient for sony their warranty do not cover water damage or corrosion. My position is that if their is water damage or corrosion it came from them spilling liquid in the unit when they went into the unit to remove the disc stuck in it.......
