SONY Ripoff ignores rebate yet again
in september sony had a rebate offer with several of it's products: camcorder $100, digital camera $50, Clie PDA $30, digital walkman $25, voice recorder $25, VAIO display $20.
we evern have a copy of the rebate offer with copies of all teh appropriate forms... even a sony rebate inquiry form we just recently checked from the net acknowleging all the appropriate forms were recieved... but one problem. it says rebate amount....$0 yet it states the submission was valid and a rebate will be issued... we bought 2 things that were elligible for the rebate on 27th of September 2001 (which we sent the info to SONY that evening) a digital camera model# DSC-P50 with rebate of $50, and a SONY Clie PDA model# PEG-N710C with a rebate of $30.
we've contacted them many times to no avail and i fear that because of our constant hounding, which has set us past the expiration date of the rebate, that they will now have an excuse to not honor the rebate.
if anyone has any info on how to get SONY to honor SONY's rebate
