SOX Signing Solutions Continuously hires Notaries but does not pay them. Calls, faxes, invoices, e-mails are ignored, then co. claims never recieved same. Ripoff Aliso Viejo California
As an Independent Contractor, I received an Order for a Notary Signing from Ashley Enos/N.Y. office for SOX.
7/20/06: I completed the order & returned the documents promptly. The terms of payment stated on their Order are (paraphrasing for brevity): Fax an invoice to 949-313-1762 on the 1st of the month for all Orders completed in previous month. Checks will be cut on the 30th of the month.
8/1/06: Faxed Invoice following instructions on Order to 949-313-1762.
8/30/06: Checks should be mailed as per stated terms: 30 days from Invoice.
9/5-9/13/06: Check not received. I called several times. Calls went to VoiceMail. Left detailed messages. Also e-mailed Ashley Enos. All my contacts were ignored. I checked with the BBB and found many complaints similar to mine. Checked my documentation & found a different fax number on the Invoice Form provided by Sign on the X. I faxed the Invoice again to 949-643-7031the 2nd Fax number-- advising that it as Past Due. No check & no response from SOX.
I checked their Website where there is yet a 3rd Invoice Fax # (949) 643-7007. This one just rings/NO answer.
9/13/06: From Website, I found & e-mailed Brian Milius, who did respond but was a Branch Mgr. & had nothing to do with A/P. However, he stated that he did forward my Invoice to A/P & also gave me A/P e-mail address. I sent yet another invoice attached to an e-mail stating that payment was Past Due and I wanted payment in my hand by 9/23/06. This e-mail was acknowledged as having been received & read by Shelly Irvine, A/P on 9/13/06.
9/23/06: Although SOX acknowledges receiving this Invoice, I still have not received payment that should have been mailed out on 8/30/06. It seems to me that they have used this incorrect Fax # dodge a few times too often for it to continue to be believed.
I can document every statement made in this complaint.
I have filed a complaint with the BBB this date. (9/23/06)
