Back in December, my husband and I were having a house built in a rural area of NC. We went to Sprint and SPECIFICALLY asked if they had coverage out there. We were told that they do, so we purchased the phones and signed a 2 year agreement. Now, we've moved into the house and we can't get a signal AT ALL. As soon as you cross into the area, the phone says "No digital service available."

I called Sprint Customer Service and she said that I needed an update. I got the update and the phones STILL do not work. I called back to find out my options and they had the audacity to tell me that since their COMPUTER shows that the phone works in my zip code, then I will be charged the cancellation fees should I terminate the contract. She said that they don't guarantee that the phones will work in every part of the zipcode, just that they do offer coverage in SOME part of it. I told her that I've been through the entire zipcode and there isn't a signal in ANY part of it.

My neighbors told me they had to pay to cancel their contracts as well because there isn't a signal. I will be filing complaints with the SCC and BBB because they deliberately misled me just to get me to purchase the service. I paid good money for the phones, and they are now completely useless to me.
