On April 19, I responded to an email offer from Stacy Kellams (aka NetCentric Publishing) to purchase an ebook for $1.00
(plus $2.00 shipping and handling). I received the ebook download, and my bankcard was charged $3.00 on April 20, 2017. This should have completed the transaction. Later, however, on April 28, 2017 my card was again charged, this time for $291.00. When I contacted the company, and told them this charge was unknown, and not authorized, they said that I had also agreed to three trial memberships from their company at $97.00 each. Hence the total new charge of $291.00. At the time of the original purchase, I was specifically on the lookout for this, and had examined all their correspondence
for this precise strategem - there was no such order, committment, or any hint of additional charges. I have since brought this to their attention, and requested that the charge be refunded. They continue to insist that I ordered and received additional product, and refuse any refund. Again, I have searched all my avenues of email correspondence and there was no such communication from them. I believe I am due a refund.
Follow-up communications with them were fruitless. They are shameless.
