I filed a claim on 3/31/2005 for a pet urine stain on a sofa covered by the Stainsafe Furniture Warranty Company. I called 7 times in 2005 and was told the sofa would be replaced.I called 10 times in 2006 and was told in July 2006 that they would refund me the cost of my warranty because the store I had purchased the sofa from had gone out of business. Each time I called I was "onhold" for 20-40 min.
On 9/12/2006 I was told my refund of $423.00 would be sent to me within 12 weeks. On 12/6/2007 I was told by Timothy McAuliffe there was a back log of checks to be processed and it would take 8-12 more weeks to process. It is now March and I have received absolutely nothing from the company.
