We purchased our furniture through JCPenney and the Stainguard was automatically registered with the company. We were provided with a copy of the proof of registration by JCPenney. I am now filing for a refund for the purchase price of the product since we did not use it at all. Apparently the e-mail given on the warranty is no good, since my e-mail was returned. Will update on my progress.

I talked to the sales rep. from Bay about there being a registation number on the box of cleaning solutions. He said they were not put on the box but some stores may do that as Stainsafe works with many store chains. If there was a reistration number on the box I was never told about it. I have the solutions but not the box as all I could see were advetising about the cleaners on it. I saw nothing official like a reg. number, and certainly was not informed of any by anyone when we made the purchase.

The registration number is located on the outside of the box containing the cleaning chemicals that you said you have, along with specific instructions for activating your warranty, which includes registering online, by mail, or by phone WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE. It sounds like you never activated your warranty. How is this anyone's fault but your own?
