Stainsafe Sold By American Signature--WARNING!!! BIGGEST SCAM-THEY TAKE YOUR $$, YOU GET LOTS OF EXCUSES, LOTS OF FINE PRINT, UNREALISTIC REQUIREMENTS, AND FINALLY NO PROTECTION! DON'T BUY IT!!! RIPOFF Palm Beach Gardens Florida
After being VERY happy with American Signature, I bought their Stainsafe protection policy...WHAT A MISTAKE!!! They tell you everything is covered because they know that you will NEVER collect.
When I finally needed them, I was given requirements for cleaning it myself using solely their product or it would not be covered. Then after cleaning it with them, they caused some change in fabric color. Finally after it happened in more than one area, I was told excuses why they would do NOTHING because it over 5 days since the first occurance. Now, they will not cover anything on either the loveseat or sofa unless I pay for a professional cleaning and submit proof (invoice) and a handwritten letter to them. Only then MAY they reinstate my coverage.
STAINSAFE IS THE BIGGEST SCAM I'VE EVER SEEN. When you buy extra coverage for anything, you should at least see something for it. If you are given it for free, it still wouldn't be worth a thing!!! I agree with one of the other reporters, they should have a lawsuit brought against them or at minimum, the Better Business Bureau should investigate their practices. THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL--DON'T BUY STAINSAFE...THEY ARE TRULY "DIRTY!"
