Prime Peripherals $8 Rebate Rip-Off
I purchased Prime Peripherals CD-R media from a local Staples dealer 03/25/01. The rebate form was completed in mailed within 2 days. I followed up with a call today, 08/03/01 to the phone number provided on the rebate form / coupon 800.390.2344.
I was told that Prime Peripherals is "now handling their own rebate processing". I was told to call 781.986.3960 for a status. I've tried 5 times to reach someone at this number. It is consistently "busy".
I believe firmly that retail stores should either discontinue allowance for rebate offers for distributors which are not going to honor those rebate requests or discontinue sale of a product due to the issues.
