Staples (Mindy Swartz, manager) lied about refundable warrantee Sterling, Illinois
My wife and I purchased a new laptop from Staples in Sterling IL in June of 2012. The manager, Mindy Swartz sold us a 3 year protection plan with the stipulation that we would get a full refund of the $289.99 if we did not ust the warrantee. After several e-mail run arounds with Staples, we were told to contact Square Trade, a company that sells warrantees. They informed me they did not deal with Staples then. We contacted the store and were told we needed to contact another warrantee company called, I believe Assurance. These people informed me that the store did not properly code or ring up the sale and I could not get the refund. I feel I was lied to and ripped off!
