I bought a car from these people on Oct 1, 2010I paid $5,700 cash, which left a unpaid balance of $705 to be paid by Nov 15, 2010. I have had numerous problems since I bought. I first was lyed to about it being wrecked. Then te company refused to give me a memorandum title so, I could transfer tags. I contacted the title agency and was told I was driving this vehicle and bought it when it was not even in the dealers name. The vin # of the driver door was shaved off. I contacted and visited this gentlemen named Don who sold m the car there. He still refused to tell me the truth and refused to give me a memorandum title. I asked that we work out something on the remaining balance do to the car being not fixed right after being wrecked. He refused to reason. I contacted the better business bureau yesterday and filed a complaint. Then tonight while I was cooking dinner and getting ready to eat with my two small children my car was wrongfully repossessed.

first off its not a wrongful repo.  if it was then you would be at your attorneys office right now.  he exicuted his rights to the auto since it was not fully paid for.  even if their is a payment plan in place they can still come to repo.  they only way it can be illegal if is the repoman said something illegal to get the car from you. i.e. acting like a police officer.  but they can also play a game to get your car and that is legal.  so upon taking possesion of the auto is not wrongful repo in anyway shape or form.  sorry

To the person asking how this was a wrongful repo.

If you read right I had until Nov 15, 2010 to pay the balance of $705.00. I have it in writting. He toke the car on October 19th.

how is this a wrongful repo?  you did not explain what happened during the repossession that would make it a wrongful repo.  if you still owe money and your even a day late the repo man can come take your car. i would and could help with more info
