State Farm Insurance Co. also Aileen Encamcion and Josue Cotto Fail to cover accident claim Atlanta Georgia
On May 3rd 2013 I was driving my car, a green Honda Civic along San Larenzo Rd. Kissimmee FL. 34758.
A maroon car driven by Aileen Encamacion Lic. # E526000878000 of 327 Alegriano Ct. Kissimmee FL 34758
failed to stop at the stop sign hit my car at the driver side rear wheel and fender, the Kissimmee Police came Officer CSO Dickson # 679 did not issue a citation to her, he to us that this is a minor accident and that we must shared information which we did, The officer give us an incident number 13IQ38639.
Aileen Encamacion was reluctant to admit that she was wrong in the accident until the officer told her that she was. She consulted her boyfriend who she claimed works at a State Farm local office.
She made a call to her insurance Co. which is State Farm Policy # 6482 146 59 001
She give me a claim number which is 59 19C1 871 at which point we all left to going about our businesses.
I called State Farm later when I got home and give them the claim number they to me that they need more information from the driver Aileen Encamacion and their policy holder who is Josue Cotto of 238 Hidden Springs Cir. Kissimmee, FL34743.
I keep calling and I get the same response, unable to contact Aileen Encamacion, State Farm claimed to make calls and sent letters to no avail, to date nothing, this lady and her boyfriend are not responding.
I am with Progressive Insurance but I do not have full coverage on this car.
My car back wheel is bent, my portable GPS fell and broke and they are deep scratches on the fender before and after the wheel. Estimate for repairs is about $1000. The car is drivable but it is not driving like it used to.
Progressive started a claim for me # 131529584 but they can`t help me fix my car because I don`t have the coverage. I am supposed to sit and wate.
The Police can`t help me, Progressive can`t help me and State Farm has denied the claim.
I feel there is more State Farm can do, if a claim is made against their policy holder and the policy holder refuses to co operate, santions and or suspension would be the answer until they comply.
I told State Farm Claim Representive Courtenay Russo about the ploy bitween the atfault driver Aileen and her supposed boyfriend who works at State Farm, Russo told me that that can`t happen that it`s against the law, so then why is the claimed denied rather than put on hold awaiting further information.
I am baffeld at the way this company does business.

I file the above report, I would like to add that State Farm step up and settle this claim. Actually the letter that Progressive sent to the unresponsive driver got the result I was hoping for.
Today July 23rd 2013 I received a written estimate from State Farm claim associate to have my car fixed. I am very happy at this turn of event. State Farm you rocks !
