Staywell Research Unethical and Irresponsible Behavior from Staywell Research Agency Northridge California
Word of caution to any individual entering a study with Staywell Research! I completed a study with this agency over one year ago and have not been compensated for it. The contract the agency has people sign, clearly states that compensation takes between 60 to 75 days to be sent after the study is completed. I am appalled by the fact that there are agencies such as Staywell Research, who claim to have high standards in the studies they perform. I completed a vitamin study in November of 2013 and still waiting for compensation. It is clear that this agency lacks ethical compliance with individuals with compensation. The fact that Staywell Research steals from its subjects shows directly that they are not worthy of trust and I highly recommend anybody to not participate in their studies due to their unethical practices.
I have contacted Staywell Research repeatedly, and each time I was sent to a voicemail stating someone would return my call in 48 hours. They never returned calls. I went to the actual agency in Northridge and was told by the receptionist that they cannot do anything about it. One week later, the receptionist called me with a routing number for a check that I never received. I called customer service because there is no answer at the "compensation department" ever. Customer service claimed to have a compensation department representative call me back. Someone did call back to bribe me into agreeing to receive my compensation under a new payment plan. When I declined the offer, this person stated that they woud pay me an additional $100.00. When I declined and said I wanted nothing to do with this agency, and that I only want my compensation fully paid as agreed with the contract, she said that they would increase the incentive to $200.00 I told her to please stop offering me any extra money and that I just wanted the original, paid in full amount. She stated that they would send it in two weeks. It has been two months since that conversation and I still have not received my compensation.
This agency is by far engaging in extremely unethical practices. I strongly recommend that people Do Not become part of their extremely unfair practices. You will not be compensated. I am still waiting for my compensation, but I will make anything in my capacity to expose Staywell Research breach of contract!

They haven't paid me either. I've called numerous times with no results. Very disturbing !!!

No all YOU can say is that YOU have not been compensated. YOU make exagerations with NO PROOF other then YOU have yet to be compensated. While I admire your stick to it attitude, YOU are putting yourself in danger of being sued. While Im sure it makes YOU feel better to make broad accusations, there is a reality here that can cost YOU a ton of money. I will start from the top..... The only thing that is clear is that YOU have not gotten paid yet, YOU have NO PROOF that the company lacks ethics. All YOU can say is that YOU have not been paid. Yet again YOU have NO PROOF of any unethical wrongdoing, all YOU can say is that YOU have not been paid yet. The ONLY thing, yet again that is clear is that YOU have not been paid. YOU CANNOT say that other people have NOT been paid as YOU do not have that information. Im going to contact THEM and point THEM to YOUR post. Perhaps YOU would like a nice fat civil suit. People like YOU are one of the reasons online complaints hold ZERO weight. YOU have not ONLY embellished the situation, YOU have made assumptions and accusations that NEED to be addressed. FYI: Since YOU are not smart enough to know when to tell the truth, YOU wont be bright enough to protect yourself online. So once this company that YOU have defamed chooses to go after YOU. All they have to do is present a court order and THEY will have all the proof they need to take from YOU all you have made or ever will make. EVERYTHING you do is tracked and recorded SOMEWHERE!!!!! So YOU will have done this to yourself and all because YOU couldn't be bothered to TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH without adding YOUR BS to it. You CANNOT embellish or exaggerate on a media outlet and that is what the web is. YOU are under the very same laws that EVERY printed publication MUST follow. YOU have presented YOUR opinions as FACT with NO PROOF of wrong doing on THIER part. Yep, YOU are a victim of YOU. There WAS a right way to handle this. All YOU had to do was go to your states labor board and YOU would have had your check WITHOUT putting EVERYTHING you know at risk. YOU need to be smarter then the problem, NOT compound the issue with a pack of lies. people like YOU truly sicken me. YOU are a self entitled spoiled child. YOU have done this to yourself and you DESERVE all that's coming to YOU.
