Steam And Go X Steam $100 for a Steam Iron that spits out droplets of water and leaves wrinkles behind. Warranty is worthless. Chatsworth- purchased at Opry Mills Mall Nashville California
The demo for the Steam Iron took place at a kiosk at the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville. I needed a travel iron for a Caribbean vacation and was impressed with the demo. I purchased the product for $100 and was excited to try it out at home.
Within 7 days, I registered for the warranty and tried the product. I followed the instructions accurately per the enclosed manual and was horrified at the results. The steam iron kept spitting out water which caused the shirt to become very wet and it never removed the wrinkles. I tried on several different occassions again following the instructions in the manual and got the same results. Complete failure.
There is no contact number for the Company and their website says that if you did not purchase the product directlly from them, then you have to return it to the Kiosk where you purchased the iron. Well that won''t work for me as Nashville is 3 1/2 hours away (one-way).
This is a complete rip-off with no recourse for returning the product. I am so glad that I did not fall for the buy one/get one at 50% off because then I would be stuck with two useless items. Buyer Beware!
