I purchased my Kbox system from StreamNtv (Brian Schumacher) through a home show in Sarasota, Fl on 9/16/2016 for $300.00.  On 11/21/2016 my Rii remote for the system stopped working. Brian replied back the same day via email and informed me his company does a 1 year warranty, and to send it back (he gave me the return address of where to send it to). I mailed it out the next day insured.  

On 12/4/2016, my Kbox system itself malfunctioned and just kept resetting itself automatically and would not boot up properly.  I again emailed him, told him this, and also the fact that I had not yet received a replacement for my Rii remote. I stated I would be mailing back my Kbox system to him the next day (12/5/2016) through Insured U.S. Mail, which I did.

 

On 12/6/2016 I received a reply via email from him that simply stated "Doug, I'll make sure it's handled".

 

On 12/14/2016 I emailed him and simply asked when I could expect my replacement Kbox system and my Rii remote?  No reply.

On 12/16/2016 I called his cell # that I had asked for upon purchasing the unit, and he reluctantly gave to me, thank goodness), and he didn't answer, of course, but I left a voicemail and sounding frustrated, asked him just when EXACTLY am I going to get my replacements. I stated that all of this non communication and lies about when it was supposedly mailed out was getting old and to call me back asap.  I never received a call back, of course.

On 12/18/2016 I emailed Brian yet again, explaining that I had left a voicemail, never got a return call, was promised excellent customer service when I bought the system (what a joke), and all I have ever asked for was to be treated as well as I was when he so happily took my money the day I purchased the system. I told him I had received confirmation from the Postal Service that both packages had been delivered,so I know he got them. I also explained, while I did not want to have to go this route of filing a formal complaint, that if he forced me to, I would.

On 12/22/2016 he replied via email and stated the following: "Doug, I am a one band show around here and my son was in an accident. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I do have your items and will test them and get it back you asap".

On 1/5/2016 I emailed him and stated that I was tired of begging and pleading with him to get my replacement Kbox system and Rii remote back, of which they are both under the 1 year warranty. I asked him just what do I need to do to get any kind of sincere and truthful response out of you. I've tried everything, been extremely patient and believed in his empty promises and still nothing....... and it has now been WELL over a month ago since I mailed the first item back.  NO REPLY SINCE.

After posting my issues with Brian online at ripoffreport.com, Craigslist (Rants & Raves with his photo) and filing a formal complaint with the BBB of Myrtle Beach, SC., I received an email from him 2 days ago stating that he was doing another trade show in Sarasota (FL) this past weekend and gave me his booth # and told me if I wanted to come by that he would be happy to replace my Kbox system and my remote, which he did. I cannot say for sure that any one of my aforementioned attempts at getting some satisfaction worked, but I'd like to think that they did since all other attempts were futile.  I know for a fact the BBB had given him a deadline of 1/25/17 to respond back to them, however, he did not mention anything to me at the trade show other than he was sorry for not getting back to me quicker.
