Subaru Of Fairfax Service Manager Flip Floppy service manager. One day tells you one thing, next day he changes his statements. ripoff Fairfax Virginia
I was buying a Subaru from an individual. The car was hooked up w/some mods. But it was a good deal. So I take it to Subaru of Fairfax to get it inspected/checked out. Some irish/scottish/euro trash guy with a goatee is the service manager checking it out. He tells me that everything on the car is fine and its in great shape. I asked him if the warranty is going to hold up w/the car having these mods and he told me that his company understands people do these things to the cars so it's not a problem. I bought the car happy. Its been a few months, and the transmission just started acting a little funny.
I went to subaru.com and it turns out my flywheel is under warranty. Now I consider myself a car guy, so I know theres more to the tranny than a flywheel. But still, if it's under warranty, then lets check it out. My uncle friend has a shop not far from subaru, so i have him check it out and look at a couple of other things. He tells me to take it to subaru and see if they can work on the flywheel.
So i drive over to subaru and see the buttpirate just coming off his lunch/fat injection break. I told him what the problem was and he's like "well we can't warranty the car if you're out there racing it everywhere" WTF I just asked him to do his job and he's throwing accusations (and F anyone that thinks like him, even a reader).
Basically, I guess he didn't get enough cheese on his pizza so he flip flopped on his previous statement. Forget subaru in ffx. That guy should be working at a BMW or VW service shop, he'd have a field day.
