Sunshine Floor & Design Gallery - Sun Shine Floor - Design Gallery - Sun Shine Floor/ Window Deceptive, Ripoff, Lying, Con, Backstabbing, Uncaring "Company" Las Vegas & Henderson Nevada
In December 2005, I entered Sunshine Flooring at 233 N. Stephanie Street in Henderson, NV and spoke to Daniel regarding carpet and tile installation. We eventually agreed to hire this company. In May 2006, two installers came to my house to work. I encountered the first problem when they could not speak one lick of English.
After a week, they completed carpet/tile installation. Afterwards, they did not clean my walls, baseboards, bathrooms or anything else they left behind. They caulked my toilets by hand and left the entire house sloppy with grout. A couple of days later, I an inspector came to my house and told me it was one of the worst jobs he'd seen in a long time. He suggested I contact the company and have them come back and fix it, which I did. A second crew only complicated my problems: they broke a corner of tile on my medallion, my grout colors do not match, I have uneven grout lines throughout my tiled areas, my corners are not smoothly cut because they were done with pliers, my fireplace is absolutely horrible, there is grout in the pores of numerous tiles, there is grout build-up in my corners, the installers put a couple of holes in my newly painted walls about the size of a nickel each, my tile lines are not straight, and my newly painted walls and baseboards need to be repainted as a result of grout stains which cannot be cleaned. At this point, I sent a certified letter in hopes we would get this resolved. Needless to say, thay has not happened.
The NV State Contractors Board validated my complaint. However, Sunshine ultimately abandoned the job, leaving my entire floor incomplete after they unsuccessfully attempted repair my floors again. In closing, the did not install the (right) material written in the contract so I did not pay them. Of course they have filed a frivolous lien on my property. If I would have had/taken the time to research this company, the writing is on the wall. The BBB rates them "Unsatisfactory" and they have mountains of complaints on file with the board. Heed my warning...stay away, stay away!!!
