Suntasia Capital Vacations, Suntasia Marketing ripoff again fraudulent debit from checking account, 2nd in 8 days Treasure Island Florida
Just filed a ripoff report on 11/24 for $149.00 being taken from my checking account on 11/18 by Suntasia Marketing and this morning I check my account to find they have taken another $59.95 out under the name of Suntasia Capital. These are unauthorized deductions.
Fpr the first unauthorized deduction, after looking them up on the internet, and finding a number to call to cancel and get a refund, I did that and was told by their recording that I would get a refund within a week's time. Obviously that won't happen as evidenced by all the ripoff reports already filed by others and the 2nd unauthorized deduction 2 days after I called for a refund.
I will be going to my bank tomorrow morning to insist on a refund as suggested by Ripoff. On the original pitch for the "free vacation" they tell you they need your checking account number to verify your solvency in case you decide to sign up for their package. When you object, they tell you your checking account number is not private as anyone that sees your check can know what it is. You feel it is ok as long as you don't give them your password.
We cannot do business over the phone with strangers anymore. And we should remember, if it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't
