Entered for "teenfarm" web site w/offer of free 30 minutes. Registered but never could access the site. Registered for another site; did access that once. No mention of cancelling or any provision to do so. A few days later I see 2 charges of 49.99 on my checking account bill. When I called they stated that I failed to cancel; they would cancel my membership but could not issue a refund; that I must petition online for that. Have had no response.

Cannot believe how unethical if not illegal this practice is!!! PLEASE tell me what can be done?? I am so angry!!

By the way, when I accused them of being a scam operation, they had NO RESPONSE!! I guess they didn't; what more could they say??

update supabill/teenfarm/etc., etc. RIPOFF

In fairness, I must report that Supabill finally refunded the $39.95 x 2 that was charged to my account. My first e-mail request for refund met with a terse response that none of my allegations were true, etc., etc., but that they would refund one of the fees. And they did refund it. However, as I continued to read various reports of the EXACT SAME THING happening to so many, I was outraged, and did a little research; found that they are apparently based in Vancouver. The Vancouver BBB apparently has had complaints about them but were nonspecific and noncomittal. I sent further e-mail to the scam Supabill organization, ending each one w/REFUND MY MONEY, and received a reply copy of my original request for refund and Supabill's reply. I really slammed them in these, telling them that their scheme was fraud itself (and they have the nerve to have a warning about customer credit card fraud on their home page, reminding that it is a felony, obviously to discourage such complaints), that their rip-off scam was well-known, especially at this site. I informed them that I would assist anyone in any efforts to STOP this scam!! And that I would report them to the BBB, but I doubted that they cared. Even if what they are doing is within the letter of the law, they are misleading and deceiving and (gasp!!!) unethical if not outright fraud!! I received no response to that, but a few days later my money was refunded!! If anyone has any idea how we can bring these a**holes down, please contact me, or reply to this site. I hate the thought that they can and will continue to do this!!! And a warning to everyone else, which reiterates what was stated earlier in this discussion - if the offer is FREE, but they request financial commitment (credit card #, checking account, etc.), it is most likely a scam such as this. DON'T DO IT!!! I was luckier than most; I did not have recurring, repeated charges to my account. Take Heed!! Thanks, Kay
