Back in April 2008, i had to renew my medical card. My dispatcher with Super Service called me while I was on home time and asked me to go to Lexington, SC to have me physical done there.

The doctor in Lexington ordered some tests to be done BEFORE she would issue me my new med card. While waiting for my appointment, which was May 29,'08, Super Service terminated me.

Their reason was that i was "taking too much time off for a DOT physical".

I called my dispatcher several times a week to keep in touch with this company.

I lost alot of personal things ( cb radio and the antennas,XM radio antenna, luggage, tools, load locks, etc)that I left in the truck I was driving as they gave the truck to another driver.

They told me that they would let me know when they had to reissue the so I could go get the rest of my stuff.

When I called them, they said the driver who had my truck said there was trash and "cat poop" in the truck. I don't HAVE a cat, I am allergic to them.

I agree that I should have taken all my things out of the truck, but I had no idea that it would take almost 4 months before I could get my med card. Which by the way i STILL don't have!

I just received the release form from my doctor last Friday to go back to work.

And now I have NO job to go back to.

Why are trucking companies SO uncaring about the drivers?

I know that this is only a simple issue, but its the principle of the thing.

Thanks for listening..

Maybe she had to "study" for his test. Maybe she had to let "something" get out of his system. Maybe they didn't have an appointment until the end of the following month. It WAS her home time. Give her a break. Bad company.

A driver physical takes about an hour to do...start to finish. There are no tests to be done prior to the physical. You either pass, or fail.
