EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

Please be patient, we can only tell you what they are telling us.

________________________________________________________

I was contacted via telephone by Superior Benefits promising me a credit card with a limit up to $2000 for a one time fee of $299. I was told that it would take 30 days to process my application and after that my package (which did not include my credit card) would be sent to me via Fed-ex.

I has now been 3 months. I have contacted the customer service department for the company repeatedly, only to be told that the shipping department is at backlog. I asked to speak with a supervisor on several occassions and was denied. I asked for a refund and was denied.

What legitimate company denies its customers to speak with a supervisor or someone that could make an authoritative decision? If the shipping department lie did not convince me that I had been scammed, the denial on contact with anyone outside of the customer service department did.

Then I went searching on the internet to see if I could find my own route to the supervisors, or executives of the company. And what I found made my heart skip beats. I found this website with tons of scam reports on this company! Now I am angry!

Not only do I feel gullible and extremely stupid, but I am outraged at the uninterested, don't care attitude of the customer service representatives that are put in place to block inquiries.

This company should be prosecuted at the highest level for its deceit and outright theivery. Please provide me with any information that will assist me in obtaining my refund and making others aware of the dishonest, unethical practices of Superior Benefits.
