Superior Benefits ripoff Champlain New York
I received a phone call in the early part of November soliciting an opportunity to re-establish credit and to receive a $2,000.00, unsecured, credit card.
The one time membership fee of $299.00 would be taken from my debit card. I was very leary about giving out my credit card and other private information to this company. I had asked if I could look at their website first before I made my final decision and she insisted that the company was to new to establish a website.
I then explained to the respresentative of Superior Benefits that I am recently out on my own and not able to afford that cost at this time.
She was very persistant and insisted that a delayed payment could be made on November 17, 2003. I was to receive the packet within two (2)weeks. It took a month and a half to receive.
Unlike other customers I was able to reach the company and the representatives took the information and noted their computer systems.
They apologized for the delay, but there was a high demand for this program. All in all I have had a very negative experience with this company.
I was under the illusion that I would be obtaining an unsecured credit card rather than a program. When I received the package and saw no unsecured credit card in with it I became furious.
I did call and speak with another representative who stated that you'll be getting a credit card offer in the mail and to fill it out and send it in right away.
By the time I found out the procedure it was a week since I received the package. I'm sure a few credit card offers came in the mail, but I did not send them in because I thought I would be getting an unsecured credit card with Superior Benefits.
Now that I am trying to use all the packet information, I'm finding that information is not free or not valid.
I can do alot more with $299.00 membership fee than an imaginary unsecured credit line. I would like my money back. I will take it as far as it needs to go.
