Following eBay pulling Susan Headley's message board post for violations of eBay message board policy, she emailed me with the following threats of harassment. Message Below Received from SUSAN HEADLEY 4/18/08 at 5:57 am [[ quotation follows, contact information omitted ]] Dear [contact information omitted], Mr. [she spelled the name wrong], Before you go too far with your silly threats of legal action, you should familiarize yourself with the laws behind libel and business interference. Stating factual information is not actionable (at least not by anybody who likes to avoid putting lawyers' kids through college.) [name omitted] you might also want to consider that you and your wife Linda there in Mentone, CA, have already put yourselves on the vulnerable end of my own libel action, which DOES have merit, based on the drivel you posted about me on RipoffReport.com several weeks ago. They were kind enough to provide your contact information to my lawyer already. I have visited your amateurish Web site.... [conjecture removed] business consulting services under the name [NAME OMITTED], and could hardly stop laughing at the folly of anybody who would hire someone to write for them who cannot even compose proper English! I'm not sure what your agenda is, or why you have gone on the offensive against me, but rather than typing threats in all capital letters like an angry child ranting about being told to take a time-out and sit in the corner until he got his emotions under control, why don't you trying being mature... masculine even... (for once) and discuss this matter like a reasonable adult? Perhaps I'll give you a call later today at your [xxx-xxx-xxxx] number over there at {address removed} and we can discuss things. Oh wait, I forgot, I have something better to do today (a major coin show is in town) but maybe I'll call you this weekend, okay? Let's have a chat and see what's really gotten under your skin. (In the mean time, my friends and I will continue to report your inflated and unfair shipping charges to eBay. Sooner or later they'll bother to crack down on your dishonest practices.) ***** THE FINAL PARAGRAPH SHOWS CLEAR AND COMPELLING EVIDENCE THAT SUSAN HEADLEY INTENDS TO CONTINUE TO HARASS, HAZE, COMMIT ACTS OF LIBEL, ENLIST HER FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES TO DO THE SAME, AND PURSUE A PLAN INTENDED TO CAUSE BUSINESS INTERFERENCE.

EBAY MESSAGE BOARD ITEM POSTED BY SUSAN HEADLEY, UNDER USER ID: coin_kajira NOTE: SUSAN HEADLEY'S MESSAGE BOARD POST VIOLATED EBAY'S MESSAGE BOARD POLICY AND WAS PULLED ON 4/18/08 AT APPROXIMATELY 5:10 AM FOR MESSAGE BOARD VIOLATIONS. The '' xxxxxxxxx '' is where the violation occurred, where she was in violation by naming an eBay store in her message board post. QUOTATION OF MESSAGE BOARD POST BY SUSAN HEADLEY, AKA, coin_kajira FOLLOWS [ QUOTE ] $47.95 shipping for a $14.95 item? why doesn't eBay stop this? coin_kajiracoin_kajira (38 (38 ) View Listings | Report Mar-07-08 06:42 PST I have been reporting this seller for weeks now. Every week or two, I send in several of his items that have RIDICULOUS shipping, sometimes 4 times the BIN price, and eBay never does anything about this cheater. What does it take to stop people like this? How do you "get through" to eBay about such flagrant abuse? If you want to take a look for yourself, the seller's name is "XXXXXXXXX" and he sells toy musical instruments as if they are the real thing (which is dishonest in itself.) [[ SUSAN COMMITTED AN ACT OF LIBEL IN THE ABOVE STATEMENT ]] Please help! Tell me what an honest member must do to get these practices stopped (which, of course, are cheating eBay out of significant fees!) Thank you, coin_kajira 6 replies Date posted Reply # crab783crab783 (106 (106 ) View Listings | Report Mar-07-08 07:59 PST 1 of 6 Just tell ebay you saw a swatstica/KKK/tank watch/toy gun without an orange plug in the listing. It'll dissapear real quick... rollando02rollando02 (0 (0 ) View Listings | Report Mar-08-08 23:57 PST 2 of 6 Shipping price has nothing to do with the item's value. lutoniumlutonium (3792 (3792 ) View Listings | Report Mar-09-08 10:34 PDT 3 of 6 You can report listing violations for having excessive shipping fees. ehkolieehkolie (2536 (2536 ) View Listings | Report Mar-09-08 14:21 PDT 4 of 6 How much would it actually cost to send a full size guitar across the country - well-packed. $39.95 does not seem outrageous to me. I am sure it would be classified as oversized and be expensive to pack as well as ship. trrekbproductstrrekbproducts (117 (117 ) View Listings | Report Mar-22-08 11:18 PDT 5 of 6 So if I were to sell a 200 pound rock to you for $1.00 and charge $50 for shipping, that would be outrageous? I don't understand how this would be remotely "excessive." musicseummusicseum (215 (215 ) View Listings | Report Mar-22-08 19:57 PDT 6 of 6 Ah yes, I remember the day I walked into our local retail postal outlet to buy a nice sturdy "guitar box". And how quickly the lady informed me about a little thing called dimensional shipping weight. She said I could mail a feather pillow in that box, no matter, at that size I paid UPS, Fedex or USPS about 50 pounds shipping.
