SWREG,INC Home computer user Aurora Colorado
on August 28th, 2008, I received an email from SWREG.Inc, offering a software package called "Evidence-Blaster", available as a download. The description in the email sounded like something I was looking for to remove cookies and other odd asortments of hidden files on my computer. I ordered the software, using a Visa credit card, to which was charged $19.95 dollars plus a fee of $3.25 for "registration backup service"
I downloaded the software and attempted to install it. There appeared to be some type of glitch as the sowtware would not install.
I attempted, through several sources, to contact the principals involved to authorize a second download of the application, or to offer technical support. I was unable to reach anyone who could help.
There is no phone number registered for the company in Eden Prairie MN
I am going to contact my Credit Card Company and have the charges reversed. This report is for the purposes of alerting other buyers that there is no support, even though support is supposed to be available.
