I purchased Norton Antivirus 360 for use with up to 5 devices.  One PC would not allow me to log in to my Norton Account.  Login is required from each device to get the download.

All phone and chat support is in India. No US address or phone is offered on the help or support pages.

Tech help from India insist that they must be given remote control of your PC in order to help. I refused 3 times, but finally allowed a tech to have remote access today.  Herr name was Sheldon and she was very pursuasive and articulate.

Once she had access she opened a variety of files, telling me that Norton could not be downloaded until my PC was cleaned up. She said the problem was "too much junk" on my PC, and she attempted to sell me a service plan for $100.  I did not buy it.  

This service plan sales tactic is a scam.  I discovered that Internet Explorer was blocking access via the Norton Login.  I used a Safari browser and was able to log in without a problem, and download the software.

Sheldon is clearly under contract with Norton, as she was able to access my account information and display my service plan on my PC.

Norton is not providing adequate customer service for their product.  The support desk they offer is scamming their customers.
