T-Mobile Hotspot Hot Spot Month by Month subscription is a ripoff, automatic billing, $25 cancellation charges New York New York Internet
In september I signed up for one month of internet usage in a Starbucks using the T-Mobile Hotspot. I paid $39.99 for a month by month plan. Firstly the plan is actually month by month, and when you sign up you are paying for only one month, BUT you will be automatically billed every month for $39.99 regardless if you use the service or not. And when I called them to say that I wanted to cancel the service, which should not be a problem as it is month by month, they charged a cancellation fee of $25.
Beware of this scheme, and I would advise you to be very sceptical of any of their offerings. Make sure to read the fine print which is hidden away in their terms and conditions, which by the way is also hidden.
