On the Taco Bell commercial for the new value meal, it claims that double decker tacos are $.99, after going to taco bell I learned that they are actually $1.39 plus tax. I was very upset.

Please forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think there was a mistake on which double decker taco you ordered. I think that there is a double decker taco for 99 cents, but there is also a double decker "supreme" on their other menu. This might be the one that you were charged for. So, next time be sure that you order the food that you really want.

Item prices they will say VARIES BY LOCATION.

If you ever read commercials they will say VARIES BY LOCATION. Not all prices are the same everywhere.
